Senior Project Manager - Waterproofing Division

The Project Manager, Waterproofing is responsible for overseeing and managing projects that are critical to Beacon’s strategic objectives in the Waterproofing division. This role involves overseeing complex projects with a strategic focus, driving cross-functional initiatives, and delivering high-impact outcomes while ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy. This person will work closely with all levels of colleagues in the Waterproofing Division, Waterproofing Senior Leadership as well as Beacon’s corporate functional team leaders. This is a high-visibility role with expected high-impact results. The Project Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget to achieve long-term organizational goals of fully integrating the Waterproofing Division within Beacon. Senior Project Manager role is remote with location of Jacksonville FL preferred. What you will do: Strategic Objective Alignment & Prioritization: Understand and prioritize Waterproofing’s strategic objectives and directly manage all projects that support these goals. Support all development and implementation efforts of project plans that align with the company's strategic objectives. Collaborate with PMO leadership to understand strategic goals and translate them into actionable project plans. Project Management Execution: Lead and manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously. Alongside functional leaders, define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and resources. Monitor project progress and performance, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure successful and timely completion. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications with project sponsors, divisional leadership and functional leaders as needed. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, manage expectations, and address concerns. Ensure stakeholder alignment, measure progress and resolve potential roadblocks. Effectively communicate priorities, risks and updates to senior level executives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with functional departments such as Marketing, Operations, FP&A, Fleet, and IT to ensure cohesive and integrated project execution. Experience working across a matrix organization among various stakeholders. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Address project issues proactively and escalate as needed. Ability to challenge others constructively to drive progress and mitigate risk. Performance Monitoring: Track project performance metrics and ensure they meet organizational goals. Prepare and present regular status reports to senior leaders and stakeholders. Process Improvement: Evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities for process improvement. Implement best practices and methodologies to enhance project success. Position will require up to 30% travel. What you will bring: Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or related field Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management with a focus on managing strategic projects. Proven experience successfully managing cross-functional projects in an environment with competing initiatives. Waterproofing Business experience preferred Consulting background preferred, not required Proficiency in project management Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to successfully lead through influence Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities High level of attention to detail and organizational skills Proactive and results-oriented with a focus on delivering results Adaptability and resilience in managing change and uncertainty
