About the Client:
Impact recruitment has partnered with an established property management company that is looking to add a Senior Property Accountant to their team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant experience.
About the Position:
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Property Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to:Oversee a portfolio of commercial and residential properties and prepare month-end financial statements.Prepare management fee billings, rent roll billings, and tenant chargebacks.Prepare cash flow reports, monthly distributions, tax filings, and remittances.Collaborate with property managers to track capital expenditure.Process CAM reconciliations, tax recoveries, and billings.Assist in preparing the annual property forecast and budget, as well as reviewing new leases and tenant agreements.Review AP coding and assist with year-end audits and working papers.Assist with special projects as required.Requirements:
3+ years of commercial property accounting experiencePursuing or designated CPADiploma or degree in accountingCompensation and Benefits:
Salary: $75,000 to $85,0003 weeks’ vacationExtended health and dentalRRSP matchingHybrid work schedule
