The Senior Proposals Analyst will work directly with the North America Commercial Operations (NACO) organization, focusing strategically on the Canada Life Sciences and Diagnostics businesses while also supporting U.S. Contract Development. Responsibilities include managing contract development for Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO), Commercial Laboratories, Blood Banks, and Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) master agreements. This role also involves handling addendums, amendments, and RFI/RFP bids, as well as identifying bid opportunities. You will competitively manage and respond to requests by leveraging knowledge and experience with redlining terms and conditions, proposed product line configurations, pricing, and value proposition to drive execution of contracts and deal approvals where considerable judgment, analysis and initiative are critical. This role interacts with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) throughout the organization to gain appropriate information and partners closely with NACO sales to help drive deal closures and deliver winning RFPs. This position is part of the Contract Development team located in Brea, CA and will be on-site Monday-Friday (supporting Eastern Time Zone). In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Lead the development and management of contracts, RFI/RFP bids, master agreements, addendums, and amendments for the Canada Life Sciences and Diagnostics businesses within the NACO Sales team, while supporting similar initiatives for the US market. + Drive cross-functional activities for developing and revising major contracts and proposals, while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders + Prepare complex, customized contracts that integrate diverse elements of high cost/revenue, ensuring compliance with company policies, GPO terms, and pricing guidelines to support profitable sales growth; Consult proactively with Sales Leads to develop strategies for navigating objections, presenting alternative contract options, and proposing value to drive deal closures. + Regularly explain process improvements in business terms, highlighting their impact on both the business and contract profitability to help sales and support staff understand processes, bottlenecks, and inconsistencies; Initiate, execute, and deliver process improvement/project to fruition. + Stay current with industry trends, provide training to team members, and participate in cross-functional projects to support organizational goals while supporting analytics and reporting needs. The essential requirements of the job include: + Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years' relevant experience + 4+ years working experience in a combination of Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Contracting, Quoting, or Pricing role + Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and redline terms and conditions in a contract It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Fluency in Canadian French (written and oral) and experience with Canadian diagnostic customers + Project management with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word + Preparing and managing RFPs with knowledge of relevant laws and regulations The salary range for this role is $85,000- $100,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
