Description
The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Psychometrist to join the UCLA Health Operation Mend Program. This program provides advanced medical and surgical care, comprehensive psychological evaluations, and intensive treatment for service members, veterans, and their caregivers experiencing symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Primary duties include:
+ Administer a wide range of neuropsychological and psychological tests
+ Score tests accurately and record summary data
+ Create patient summaries by collecting and documenting historical and behavioral data
+ Organize and maintain testing materials and protocols
+ Teach and demonstrate testing techniques to trainees and students, including proper administration, scoring, and patient interaction
+ Perform data entry and execute computer-based scoring
+ Develop and maintain databases, ensuring accurate data entry for quality assurance, program evaluation, and research
Salary range: $30.53/hr - $40.30/hr
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Psychology or other mental health related field
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in psychometric testing
+ Prior experience with behavioral analyses and intervention techniques (preferred)
+ Knowledge of current legal and ethical standards in psychology
+ Extensive training in a variety of psychological and research assessment measures
+ Strong ability to train and supervise externs, interns, and staff
+ Proven collaborative teamwork skills
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills,, including report editing
+ Commitment to patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA, JCAHO, CMS, and related regulations
