We are seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to be part of the Proposal Management team focused on Portfolio Services, supporting the business craft strategic responses for high profile pursuits and business development collateral. Proposal Management is a high-performance team of business development strategists focused on elevating business development deliverables and in turn, improve win rates, increase revenue and positively differentiate the firm.
This position will be based in London and will work closely with business development teams across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region as well as internationally. It calls for a high energy, proactive individual who can work independently as part of a team.
What this job involves:
Create bid strategiesIdentify, capture and develop win themesChampion proposal best practiceDevelop a bid programme and identify necessary resourcesUnderstand competitive landscape and seek to positively differentiate bid offerEnsure alignment to internal processes and obtain approvals in timely mannerSubmit consistently high quality, customer focused tender responses within allocated time frameCoordinate internal and independent reviews in line with bid programmeMonitor bid costs and deliver bid within agreed budget, as appropriateWork with creative teams to enhance visual impact of tender responses / presentationsWork with knowledge management team to maintain bid library and other relevant business development collateralSupport global sales enablement programmes to enhance sales productivityEvery day is different, and in all these activities, we’d encourage you to show your ingenuity. Strong educational background – degree / professional qualifications preferredMinimum 7 years of experience in bid managementIn-depth understanding of end to end tendering process and associated activitiesAbility to communicate effectively (written and verbal), coupled with strong influencing skills – particularly at a senior levelProven track record of successUnyielding attention to detail that results in zero error/defectsFlexible and proactive with ability to work under their own initiative with a high degree of energy, assertiveness and creativityExcellent project management skills and strong organisational capabilityCommitment to collaboration and teamworkAbility to work to tight deadlines, manage multiple projects and work under pressureStrong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skillsExcellent oral and written EnglishLocation:
