Senior QA Automation Engineer
The Sweep group is responsible for maintaining and enhancing Tradeweb’s critical sweep trading systems. Our mission is to ensure seamless, automated, and performant sweep trading operations across products. As part of this high-impact team, you’ll collaborate closely with both product and engineering teams to ensure that our systems meet the highest quality standards. Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts. There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites. We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with a strong engineering mindset and experience using end-to-end test automation frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a language such as Python or TypeScript and capable of setting up automated test infrastructures in staging environments. **Key Responsibilities** + Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end test suites from scratch using Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools + Analyze product requirements and write comprehensive end-to-end tests in Python, TypeScript, or similar + Set up and maintain automated testing infrastructure in a staging environment + Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure seamless integration of test automation in CI/CD pipelines + Identify, document, and troubleshoot issues through testing phases, and track their resolution + Provide detailed reporting on test outcomes and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance product quality **Qualifications** + Minimum of 5 years of experience with end-to-end test automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, etc.) + Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or similar + Experience setting up automated test environments + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail + Experience with version control systems (Git, etc.) and Agile methodologies + Previous experience working in a fast-paced engineering environment + Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams **Nice to Have** + Experience in financial or trading systems + Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker + Knowledge of SQL and experience analyzing database results to validate test outcomes **Additional Information** Tradeweb is committed to providing valuable and competitive benefits.
