Senior QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software QA Engineer with more than 10 years of overall experience as a QA Automation Engineer including creating test frameworks (Selenium, JMeter), writing test cases in Java, performing manual and automated tests of API and web based UI. The candidate must have expert knowledge and experience in the below mentioned tech stack. Experience in Kanban methodology is a must with a focus on high quality and consistently raising the bar. The candidate helps the team solve issues of diverse scope where analysis is required. Must have more than 10 years of overall experience as a QA Engineer including creating test frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, JMeter), writing test cases in Java, performing manual and automated tests of API and web-based UI. Experience with Bamboo, GitHub and CI/CD pipeline As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will: + Play occasional lead QA responsibilities across multiple teams and products + Play a key role in test strategy development by identifying areas suitable for automation + Contributing towards performance testing and executing automated tests to identify potential bottlenecks + Oversee test coverage by coordinating with offshore team members as needed. + Mentor junior test engineers on best practices and framework usage. + Actively work with the dev leads to understand the requirements and design automated tests as part of development process. + Proactively identify opportunities to enhance automation coverage, improve test efficiency and optimize the automation framework Relevant Stack: + Java + Selenium + JMeter + REST-assured + SQL **What you have** **Required qualifications:** + Bachelor of Science Degree or Equivalent + 10+ years as a QA Engineer + Experience with financial markets and trading, specifically Futures and Forex + Deep understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies + 10+ years demonstrated hands-on real-world experience in enterprise application development team. + Experience in creating testing framework for automated regression testing. + Experience using PCF platform or similar stack. + Thorough understanding of Kanban software development methodologies, values, and procedures + Experience mentoring and guiding junior developers. **Preferred qualifications:** + Curiosity to understand and leverage new tools and technologies. + Excellent team player with the ability to influence and negotiate. + Self-motivated as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems. **What’s in it for you** At Schwab, we’re committed to empowering our employees’ personal and professional success.
