The anticipated salary range for this role is between $97,000.00 and $156,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualification, experiences, and analysis of current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC MANUBANK offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

**SUMMARY:**
The Senior QA Automation Engineer for Credit and Fraud Risk Technology ensures the quality of software applications through comprehensive testing strategies and automation across risk infrastructure. As part of the Credit & Fraud Risk Technology group, this role involves contributing to the testing strategy, framework, and execution, including in-sprint, SIT, and UAT testing efforts for the digital bank’s mission-critical decisioning infrastructure.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.
+ Write and execute test cases for various applications.
+ Create and maintain API automation scripts.
+ Conduct system performance tests to ensure reliability, capacity, and scalability.
+ Implement database automation testing.
+ Test complex systems with multiple integration points.
+ Perform migration testing to ensure seamless transitions.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
+ Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
+ Contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
**POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:**
+ BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
+ 5+ years of experience in designing, planning, and executing tests for APIs and web services.
+ Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on automation.
+ Strong technical skills in Python, Java, and JavaScript.
+ Experience with GitLab, CI tools like Jenkins, and test management tools like JIRA.
+ Experience in testing complex systems with multiple integration points.
+ Experience in migration testing.
+ Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
+ Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
+ Experience in the banking industry preferred
