Summary of Responsibilities: Design, write, and execute complex manual and automated tests throughout the software development life cycle, within an Agile work environment. Responsibilities Author and maintain automated test cases that ensure a high degree of quality of ICE Mortgage Technology products (specifically Simplifile components and features, along with its integrations) Test APIs, user interfaces, web services, web applications, and 3rd party integrations Debug and troubleshoot complex issues Be a vocal proponent of quality in every phase of the SLDC Participate in the planning of features to be implemented and deployed Work in a flexible, agile development environment with rapid release cycles Knowledge and Experience Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as CodeceptJS, TestNG, Postman/Newman, Selenium, etc. Preferably CodeceptJS. Must be passionate about QA and writing automation code Skilled in one, or more, of the following languages: Java, JavaScript. Preferably JavaScript. Must possess a good working knowledge of modern QA principles and how they apply to QA methodologies and processes Ability to learn, collaborate, adapt, and work well with others Must be skilled in writing high quality test cases that can be utilized by manual testers and easily converted into automated tests Must have deep problem-solving and analytical skills and the ability to think outside of the norm Experience with Jira and test case management tools, such as Zephyr Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required 6+ years of QA experience required Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
