Senior QA Engineer with hands on experience in Mobile Application Testing(Manual, Automation) for Android, iOS platforms. The Candidate should have good experience in Mobile Automation Testing using open source automation tool - Appium with Python/Java as programming language. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing test strategy, test planning, test creation, test execution, defect tracking and mobile test automation. The candidate should possess a strong background in software testing(Mobile Apps) and quality assurance. This role requires a balance of technical depth, leadership skills, and collaboration across teams. "Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform Mobile Application Testing(Manual, Automation) for Android, iOS platforms
    • Perform functional and non-functional testing focused on IOT devices, software, hardware, firmware and with MS Azure Cloud.
    • Work with system architects, software and product developers, marketing, QA, and other stakeholders to understand test requirements and ensure quality products are delivered
    • Define and implement test strategy, test plans, test creation, test execution and best practices
    • Test creation and execution of Smoke Tests, Sanity Tests, Regression Tests for IoT products
    • Use Test Management and Defect Management Tool- JIRA for Tests and defect creation
    • Develop automated test scripts for Android and iOS platform using Appium with Python/Java as programming language
    • Work with other test engineers to coordinate sub-system test requirements, plans, and best practices
    • Work with DevOps team to implement Continuous Integration(CI) of Functional Tests and API Tests
    • Have awareness of current and future state of software testing best practices
    
Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field
    • 6+ years in Quality Assurance and Software Testing(Mobile Apps Testing) for Android, iOS
    • Experience in Mobile App Testing, IoT Devices, MS Azure Cloud or similar solutions
    • Experience in developing automated testing solutions using Appium, PyTest, Python, GitHub or any other similar framework
    • Experience in Test Management and Defect Management Tool- JIRA
    • Experience with scripting languages: Python, JAVA
    • High familiarity with modern system testing best practices
    • Proven track record of System Testing(Software, Hardware, Firmware) of complex IoT solutions that produce high quality products
    • Experience working with version control and issue tracking systems such as the Atlassian tool chain (Jira, Bitbucket, etc.), Git, GitHub, or similar tools
    • Experience working with a multi-disciplinary and multi-regional team
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) including the ability to explain and convey technical concepts
    • Proven record utilizing software best practices and adapting to emerging technology trends and methodologies
    • Strong ability to drive for results and take initiative even when requirements may be vague or undefined
