Job Title: Senior QA Lead
Location: Remote (Ideally NYC)

As a Senior QA Lead, you will establish quality assurance strategies, take the lead on QA initiatives, and ensure that our client's software meets the highest quality standards. You will drive the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies, including automation, and focus on delivering scalable, high-quality solutions that align with business goals, ensuring the best possible care for pets. This remote role is available for individuals outside the New York City area, with some travel required. For those in NYC, a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 2 days a week in the office is expected.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead or managerial role.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools, and frameworks.
• Proficiency in automated testing and performance testing tools.
• Skilled troubleshooter with the ability to identify the root cause of defects.
• Strategic thinker, capable of aligning QA processes with business goals.
• Analytical ability to handle large datasets and inform decision-making.
• Flexibility to handle changing requirements and technical challenges.

Responsibilities:
• Create comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with project objectives.
• Lead and mentor the QA team, promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance.
• Implement and refine test automation frameworks to streamline processes.
• Monitor, track, and analyze defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with engineers, product management, and stakeholders to identify quality risks.
• Provide regular updates on test results, quality metrics, and progress.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 annually, with potential variations based on factors such as location, qualifications, performance, skills, and experience. Our client's total compensation package includes incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other short or long-term incentives. Employees are in an ‘at-will position,’ and compensation may be modified based on individual or team performance and market factors.
