About the Role: 

As an Embedded QA Engineer you have an amazing opportunity to develop and execute our QA strategy towards customer experience with KT devices. Reporting to the Head of Embedded QA, you will oversee the quality of our flagship product. You will be able to develop test strategy and test documentation for new and exciting KT products. You will interact with the Embedded Development team in case to learn and to represent the EQA team’s test efforts.  If you are collaborative and have the gift of meticulous detail, we want to hear from you. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

Developing Test Documentation for testing our hardware devices Developing and partially executing test plans Leading KT projects by providing QA support to Development team Developing QA artifacts such as bug reports, improvement suggestions, and requirement traceability matrices Defining, estimating, tracking, and reporting progress of S/W quality assurance efforts Collaborating with other departments and facilitating synchronization with other team’s test efforts

What We’re Looking For: 

8+ years experience in Software and Firmware quality assurance, including: white box and black box testing user acceptance testing usability testing ad-hoc testing exploratory testing End to end testing Thorough understanding of software development life cycle Experience creating detailed regression and incremental test plans Knowledge of Agile methodologies, KANBAN, and S/W testing life cycles Knowledge of issue tracking tools (JIRA preferable) Knowledge of test management tools Experience testing embedded FW is a strong plus Familiarity with Linux is a plus
