Job Summary: As a Senior QA Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing functional test scripts to verify the functionality, performance, and security of our applications. Yourexpertise in functional testing, test managements tools, and best practices will contribute to our overall testing strategy, enabling us to deliver top-notch software to our clients.

 

 

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Review and analyze system specifications Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects Document and report defects to the development team Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and retest the software Ensure that the software adheres to quality standards and follows the industry best practices Participate in team meetings to provide feedback on the software and testing process Work with the team to perform test result analysis and root-cause analysis of the defects found to ensure appropriate corrective action is taken to maintain quality standards Coordinate and/or consult with SQA team on how to test various system features and interfaces. Accurately report testing results and progress at appropriate intervals as established by the SQA Manager Strong knowledge on project management tools like Azure devOps, Kiwi TCMC, Jira tools to manage testing. Write and prepare technical performance test plans Develop data driven test automation scripts and execute performance and load testing Design and implement Load and Stress tests using JMeter

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

 

Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering

 

EXPERIENCE

 

6+ years of QA functional experience 3+ years of experience in Performance testing using JMeter advanced

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Experience with Git and GitLab or GitHub Performance testing experience (e.g. Jmeter/Blazemeter) is must Testing experience in GWT, WebGL technology and 3D Drawing Application testing Having exposure to DataDog monitoring tool. Having exposure to manufacturing industry-based applications would be plus.

 

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND/OR ABILITIES:

 

Excellent communication skills Experience with cloud application testing, including Amazon AWS and Elastic Beanstalk Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Gitlab, Azure DevOps) to automating test execution Strong experience in scripting with JMeter tool. Preferably experience with Web HTTP/HTTPS, Web services protocols. Experience in designing different types of scenarios like Performance, Load, Stress and Scalability etc. Identify bottle necks, stress and load test and follow performance testing processes Leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide a team of functional testers. Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) may be a plus. Proficiency in programming language (Java) Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed to meet deadlines
