Job DescriptionWe are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Senior Quality Assurance Executive to join our Quality Assurance team in Biyagama, Sri Lanka. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring quality process alignment with global Avery Dennison standards, driving continuous improvement, and serving as a key liaison between customers and internal teams.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Customer-Focused Quality Assurance
Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring customer quality expectations are met.
Track and analyze quality trends, providing insights and reports.
Collaborate with Sales, GPD, and Technical teams to resolve customer quality concerns.
Investigate and resolve quality-related customer complaints, serving as a neutral party.
Address customer documentation requests efficiently.
Supplier & Material Quality Management
Work with the team of material inspectors in diagnosing and addressing poor-quality materials.
Raise Non-Conformance Material Reports (NMRs) and follow up with the supply chain team.
Provide technical training for internal and external personnel as required.
Quality Management & Compliance
Oversee ISO systems certification, including drafting SOPs, conducting internal audits, and managing non-conformities.
Align local SOPs with global Avery Dennison SOPs, ensuring compliance and implementation.
Conduct Gemba Walks to ensure process alignment and identify improvement areas.
Ensure timely completion of platform audits, monitor corrective actions, and drive process adherence.
Develop and maintain the Customer & 3rd Party Audit Calendar, ensuring all audit requirements are met.
Follow up on Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to ensure sustainable improvements.
Data Analysis & Quality Reporting
Conduct quality data analysis and prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Track and report key quality KPIs, ensuring continuous process improvement.
Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement
Create and monitor SOPs, ensuring effective documentation and implementation.
Lead initiatives to improve quality processes, aligning with global standards.
Ensure timely completion of customer audits, driving improvements based on audit findings.

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
This position exists in the Operations department in Quality Assurance team and requires individuals who have willingness, commitment and dedication to maintain customer’s point of contact for quality issues, administrating Quality Management System . Further, assisting the QA manager to drive quality information and improvements through the organization will be within the scope.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business Process Management, Quality, Management, or a related field OR a National Diploma in Technology (NDT) / Higher National Diploma in Engineering (HND).
Minimum 5 years of technical experience in a quality-related role.
Thorough knowledge and experience of Quality Process implementation and follow up.
Expertise in ISO 9001 QMS with certification as an internal auditor (FSC Audit experience is an added advantage).
Strong written, verbal, and telephone communication skills.
Solid technical aptitude with a keen attention to detail.
