We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Quality Automation Tester (Python Automation) to join our ARCHER QE team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both automated and manual testing, with a focus on automation. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
Location: Hybrid - Downtown Toronto (250 Yonge St, Toronto) and/or Client Office. Minimum 3 days per week in-office, subject to change.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Robot, Jenkins, GitHub, and PyCharm.
• Perform manual testing as needed to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Utilize programming languages and tools including Selenium, Python, SQL, and VBScript to create and manage test cases.
• Identify, document, and analyze issues, bugs, and defects, ensuring clear and concise communication with team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Actively participate in Agile projects and methodologies, including JIRA, HPALM, and/or qTest.
• Engage in Scrum ceremonies, asking questions and providing input to drive continuous improvement.
• Work effectively with team members across multiple locations, including remote work from home (WFH) setups.
• Maintain a minimum of 3 days per week in-office presence, adapting to changes as required.
• Proven experience in automated and manual testing, with a strong focus on automation.
• Proficiency in using Robot, Jenkins, GitHub, and PyCharm for test automation.
• Strong programming skills in Selenium, Python, SQL, and VBScript.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey information to team members.
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Experience with Agile projects and methodologies, including JIRA, HPALM, and/or qTest.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across multiple locations.
• Willingness to work in-office a minimum of 3 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with ARCHER is a significant plus.
• Familiarity with additional testing tools and frameworks is advantageous.
