Senior Quality Engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer/Test Automation Engineer to ensure the highest level of quality, compliance, and performance for Wells Fargo’s digital platforms, core banking systems, and financial products within our Consumer Technology group.  As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts.  You will collaborate with our engineering team to ensure our products are of the highest quality and meet our customers’ expectations.  This is crucial to accelerating our development cycles and ensuring we can scale without compromising on quality.   

In this role, you will:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing

Collaborate with developers and engineers to understand product requirements, define testing strategies and ensure test coverage for new features and bug fixes

Contribute to the development and enhancement of the test automation framework to ensure scalability and efficiency

Continuously improve and optimize test automation processes and frameworks

Identify and troubleshoot issues with test scripts and provide solutions

Execute automated tests, track results, and report findings to the development team

Monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure tests are integrated into the development workflow

Stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices in test automation


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

4+ years of testing and/or quality assurance experience

4+ years of Java experience

2 years of Microservices and API experience

2 + years of experience designing and implementing solutions for test automation using Selenium and Java


Desired Qualifications:

2+ years of Agile experience

2+ years of experience with Dev/Test platforms and frameworks like Cucumber, Karate

Experience working with distributed teams

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$84,000.00 - $179,200.00
