Senior Quality Engineer
Job Title: Senior Quality EngineerJob Description The primary mission of this role is to provide Quality support to Space programs. The Senior Quality Engineer will create quality planning to administer customer and internal quality requirements to program teams and supply base. This role includes First Article Inspection (FAI) planning, ensuring Quality Engineering engagement in program development, design, test requirements, and verification, and transitioning design into production. The engineer will provide onsite support for hardware review and non-conforming material disposition, as well as support for onsite customer inspections and End Item data package completion and reviews. Essential Skills + Quality Engineering or Operations experience with working knowledge of engineering development, material acquisition, production, test, and product acceptance. + Experience working with Space hardware. + Minimum of 5 years' experience. + BS in STEM field. + Proficiency in Quality engineering, First Article Inspection, Audit, test requirements, quality assurance, root cause analysis, AS9100, and quality management. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in the infrared industry, semiconductor processing, or DoD industry. + Experience working with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) or with Mission Planning for National Security Space Vehicles. Work Environment The work environment is a collaborative team setting where communication and teamwork are essential for successful program execution. The role involves working closely with Integrated Product Teams and receiving feedback on the effective implementation and flow down of Quality requirements. Customer feedback regarding support for onsite customer inspections and End Item data package reviews will also be a measure of success. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
