The compensation target range for this role is:

Position Summary:The Senior Quality Engineer will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, to resolve key manufacturing issues such as, CAPA, non- conformances, scrap, customer complaints and compliance issues, using Lean Sigma tools. The SQE will drive longer-term improvements, always ensuring quality assurance, and compliance with the Company's safety and regulatory procedures. Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Lean Sigma Green Belt (required), Black Belt preferred.
Lead and develop a team to provide Quality support to the Process Engineering, Safety and Production.
Identify and implement tools such as PFMEA, Ishikawa diagrams, SPC, 8D and 5 Whys.
Apply process controls to monitor process conditions and react to problems.
Develop and drive plant quality KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
Manage projects, efforts, and changes of moderate complexity and scope including but is not limited to, process performance qualifications.
Communicate quality standards and requirements within the organization and Supports day-to day manufacturing activities.
Collaborate with engineering and production functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
Participate in continuous improvement activities that directly impact performance measures.
Overlook and participate in the change approval process for risk assessment, verification, and validation.
Produce, track and trend quality metrics, generate and submit timely reports .
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills, Education, Experience:
BS degree in preferably in Engineering, Quality, or related field – required.
Lean Sigma Green Belt Required, Black Belt Preferred.
4+ years of Quality Assurance /Engineering experience
in a factory manufacturing environment utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or Total Quality Management principles.
Supervisory and/or leadership experience a plus
Proficient in SPC tools (Minitab) and techniques. Demonstrated ability to facilitate SPC reviews, analysis data and formulate action plans.
