Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Quality Inspector (contract) to work as part of an IPMT team on our clients exciting energy transition project.  The role will ideally be based at our clients office in London with regular travel to manufacturing facilities across the UK and Europe.

Working as part of Line pipe Package delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all specified quality and technical requirements are fulfilled during manufacturing, testing, handover and delivery stages for Plate, LSAW pipes, Induction Bends and Coating applications, at various suppliers’ manufacturing locations. 

You will be responsible for deploying competent Inspection Resources (via TPI Contract) in accordance with manufacturing schedule and approved ITPs.  You will also be responsible for implementing a risk-based Quality Oversight Plan at all key manufacturing locations to underpin ‘Right First-Time’ delivery of Line pipe package.

Following the successful delivery of the line pipe and bends scope, this role may transition into the quality engineer role covering the offshore pipelay scope.
