Job Title: Sr. Quality Leader Job Description The Sr Quality Leader is directly responsible for leading our world-class Quality department. The quality team supports all aspects of the product lifecycle, from new hardware and software product development to the internal manufacturing and assembly of our products. Responsibilities + Create, measure, communicate, and drive group performance to meet the quality and team objectives. + Ensure the organization maintains a robust internal audit and corrective action system, as well as a robust supplier quality assurance and corrective action system. + Maintain compliance with ISO9001 and AS9100 Certification and assessment interfaces with a third-party Registrar. + Interface with customers on quality issues. + Reduce the cost of poor quality. + Foster an environment in which all employees are responsible for quality. + Review and assure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. + Identify and implement road maps for continuous improvement. + Provide expert guidance to Tenured Staff. + Lead daily operations and ensure quality goals are met while maintaining the highest ethical standards. + Promote a team environment and develop direct reports and teams through mentoring. + Responsible for hiring, training, motivating, and counseling employees. Essential Skills + Bachelor's Degree in Science, other related degree or equivalent experience. + 5+ years of focused quality leadership/management experience. + In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems. + Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize data and change outcomes. + Excellent written and verbal communication and customer interface skills. + Demonstrated ability to think strategically and act tactically. + Experience with AS9100 and MRB processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Prior Aerospace and/or Defense industry experience preferred. + Prior management experience. + Bias for action and self-motivated problem solver. + Desire to lead and grow as a leader. + Ability to motivate others to buy into ideas, concepts, and values.
