Quality Assurance Specialist- Defense Industry
Our CW901D team has an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Specialist.
If you are a committed, creative and passionate about continuous improvement working with the requirements of the Department of Defense, we would like to hear from you. You should have knowledge in Quality Control Documentation, First Article Inspection Report preparation and review, as well as being extremely organized. In the future you will be asked to support CW901D Internal Auditing Program.

**Wage Information** **:** $23.00 - $40.00per hour

**Your Challenge:**
- Control Quality Documentation:
Review, edit, maintain and distribute all controlled documentation and controlled forms necessary to define CW901D products and processes configuration. The documentation control system must be maintained in highly well-organized digital manner.
- Develop First Article Inspection Reports:
Learn and follow the FAI standard, AS9102, which requires the proper documentation and verification in detail of production methods, supplier documentation, supplier certifications, all elements of process development, material specifications, testing processes and detailed measurements. The ability to read and understand SolidWorks prints and navigate software programs, such as Net Inspect, is an added plus. The capability to learn these requirements is a must.
-Internal Audits:
Assistance in performing Internal Audits, with the ability to become a AS9100 certified Auditor.
- Understanding the applicable AS9100 requirements
- Understanding the process approach for auditing
- Understanding the company’s requirements
- Understanding how to plan, conduct, report writing and close out findings.
**What You Bring:**
+ Associate’s Degree in Business or Records Management, Communications or related field is required (Related experience will be considered.)
+ Certification to AS9100, ISO9000 a plus
+ A minimum of Five (5) years of professional work experience in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial work environment or a similar position is required.
+ Experience in AS9100, AS9102, ISO9000
