**The Opportunity**
Our location in Abbott Park, IL or Columbus, OH currently has an opportunity for a **Senior Quality Training Specialist** **.**
Ensure that Division QA personnel training requirements are aligned with job responsibilities. Ensure compliance with Division QA training program. Develop training solutions to address key business needs or initiatives, and assist the manufacturing plants in developing and maintaining training program requirements. Play a key role in supporting quality initiatives where training function involvement is required. Provide subject matter expertise for the global Learning Management System (LMS). Support launch of LMS to manufacturing plants and provide ongoing support for LMS usage.
**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
+ Assist area managers in identifying and aligning training requirements with job responsibilities and ensure smooth implementation of the training requirements.
+ Work with Training Manager to develop training strategies and solutions to support key business initiatives and long-range plan.
+ Conduct needs assessments, design and develop training courses, manage training development and implementation timelines.
+ Assist in global LMS rollout and provide ongoing support to Division users.
+ These include, but are not limited to: participant project planning, providing technical expertise on the IT system, identifying and implementing improvement opportunities, resolving issues, training system administrators, evaluating LMS new releases/new functionalities, updating training procedures and referencing guides, and ensuring system integrity.
+ Generate training metrics, monitor training compliance status, and take actions to ensure training compliance.
+ Provide a close liaison with division QA personnel to ensure optimal utilization of training resources, both internal and external, in order to accomplish the training objectives.
+ Works closely with training manager and area managers to ensure Division QA training program is compliant and all training requirements are aligned with job responsibilities.
+ Guides the usage of global LMS and ensures the integrity of the system.
+ Critical in ensuring training programs meet business needs.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelors Degree In Business, Education, Human Resources, Science or Organizational Development.
+ Training experience (a minimum of 3 – 5 years in training function) or certification/education, demonstrated ability to develop training courses, especially computer-based training, high-level of technical expertise on LMS, and knowledge of quality system are required. Minimum 3 years
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Requires a high level of anaylytical skills, communication skills, facilitation skills, project management, training development and technical expertise to achieve an effective learning management system.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent customer service/consulting/collaboration skills, presentation and/or group facilitation skills, good organzational project management skills, ability to prioritize and make sound decisions.
+ Must demonstrate initiative, innovation, and good analytical problem solving skills.
+ Must be able to interact with all levels of employees.
+ Experience dealing with international locations and/or experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, strategic planning and/or organizational development is desired.

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
