Learn more about our community at design.linkedin.com \#LinkedInDesign **What you'll do at Linkedin** + Drive Strategic Research Initiatives – Partner with Design, Product, Data Science, Strategic Finance, and Marketing teams to deeply understand business objectives and design rigorous, user-focused research studies that inform decision-making. + Develop Innovative Measurement Strategies – Uncover insights about user behavior and experience by applying sophisticated methodologies, experimentation, and mixed-methods research to drive actionable recommendations. + Integrate & Synthesize Insights – Collaborate with other Insight Generating Functions (IGFs) at LinkedIn (e.g., Data Analytics, POM, Market Research) to triangulate data from multiple sources and develop a holistic understanding of user needs. + Influence Product & Business Strategy – Deliver compelling, data-driven narratives that shape product development, influence executive decision-making, and drive user-centric business outcomes. + Ensure Scientific & Statistical Rigor – Apply strong scientific and statistical judgment to generate high-quality, reliable insights in a fast-paced environment, setting a high technical standard for research excellence. **Basic Qualifications:** + 5+ years of experience in quantitative or mixed-methods user research, design research, or behavioral science. + Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human Factors, Anthropology, Sociology, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field—or equivalent industry experience. + Experience with R and SQL for data analysis and research applications. + Proven ability to lead research projects with multiple stakeholders, driving alignment and delivering impactful insights. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Strong experience in delivering large-scale projects independently; Projects are forward-thinking and shape the future of the business; Subject matter expert who owns a business area + Demonstrated ability to drive strategy and vision for respective projects and teams + Strong ability to deliver design solutions for unstructured problems that have many dependencies + Excellent ability in visual communication + Experience in solving unstructured problems that have few dependencies; Embraces ambiguity and can transform it into effective, actionable plans + Strong ability to contribute ideas that influence product strategy on adjacent teams **Suggested Skills:** + R (programming language) + SQL + Log Analysis + Problem Solving + Collaboration + Storytelling LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $123,000 to $201,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
