JOB SUMMARY
This position is a vital role in support of the Dir, Real Estate Transactions as a primary focal point in managing the corporation’s real estate requirements and transactions either directly or through leveraging various service provider relationships in support of the corporate initiatives. Other responsibilities may include budget forecasting, reporting, real estate planning and analysis, portfolio administration and other related tasks.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support and manage the corporate real estate function, including acquisition, disposition, portfolio management, and project/construction management for a portion of Charter’s large portfolio of leased and owned assetsDefine and implement a real estate strategy to serve the organizations’ short-term and long-term business requirementsInteract with business unit leaders, within the company, to ensure that the strategy and execution of projects align with the business requirementsSupport the operational aspects of the annual real estate expense, including financial modeling, analysis, negotiation, and decision-makingProvide a real estate business focus in the context of the Company's business to ensure that the Client can capitalize on near-term opportunities, while minimizing long-term financial riskAssist in identifying upcoming acquisitions, terminations, renewals, etc. that will help the business units identify upcoming expense and capital budgets for the coming yearDevelop and support consistency of process and procedures and create close working relationships with each of the operating unitsInterface with property owners, property managers, legal counsel and real estate brokersEnsure that corporate real estate guidelines, policies and procedures are followedCoordinate with Risk Management, Finance and General Counsel and/or other departments whose input is required as part of the transaction processPerform other duties as requestedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Knowledge of a variety of real estate areas such as: transaction management, strategic planning, financial analysis and project/construction management
Ability to manage multiple projects of various size and complexity across diversified customer base
Experience in negotiating and interpreting Office, Retail and Industrial lease documents, interacting with various levels of management including senior executives and a successful track record in project management are expected of the candidate
Experience in managing multiple assignments in multiple geographies
Ability to balance strategic and tactical initiatives
Knowledge of the industry standards
A results orientation with well-developed organizational and communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent communication and computer skills
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent training, education and experience
Related Work Experience
8 plus years Corporate Real Estate Experience

The base pay for this position generally is between $88,200.00 and $156,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
