About the Role

As Senior Recovery Analyst, you will audit various types of allowances, trade discounts, and other terms and funds obtained by Kohl’s that can be recovered from vendors. You will analyze vendor agreements and transactional data to identify funds that can be recovered from vendors. 

What You’ll Do

Justify recoveries through accurate documentation and recommend process improvements to prevent recurring issues

Complete assigned recovery audit projects to ensure negotiated terms and funds are obtained by Kohl’s in their entirety

Identify and develop new recovery opportunities

Prepare supporting documentation to justify amounts that can be recovered

Enhance queries, reports and other analytical tools to maximize audit efficiencies

Meet with business partners to obtain approval for recovery

Prepare preventative reporting to share with business partners

Educate business partners to prevent recoveries from recurring

Identify improvements to processes and internal controls associated with vendor contracts and Kohl's company policies

Assist in the implementation of process improvements

Additional tasks may be assigned

What Skills You Have

Required

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Experience with Microsoft Access or other query tools for data analysis

3-5 years of Recovery Audit experience or Data Analysis

Excellent analytical skills and technical capabilities

Preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work well in a team atmosphere and build business partnerships with other functional areas

Knowledge of Big Query or SQL Server
