**Description** AURA's mission is to provide innovative, open resources to enable discovery and excellence in research, to unify the astrophysics communities, and to promote public understanding of our universe and the benefits of science exploration. AURA carries out its role through its astronomical facilities. **General Description of Position:** The Senior Recruiter will lead high-level and specialized recruitment efforts, bringing expertise in sourcing and hiring strategies for senior, strategic, and hard-to-fill roles. This role also requires coaching and mentorship of teammates and will be a trusted advisor to hiring managers and key stakeholders. **Essential Functions:** **Responsibilities for all Sr. Recruiters** ( _These responsibilities apply to all individuals in this role_ ): 1. Strategic Recruiting Expertise: 2. Manage end-to-end recruitment for complex or senior-level positions, with a focus on delivering value-added outcomes with quality, creativity, and speed. 3. Build and maintain talent pipelines for assigned positions, particularly specialized, hard-to-fill, STEM, and leadership roles. 4. Collaboration, Advisory & Mentorship: 5. Partner with hiring managers, HR Business partners, and other key stakeholders to develop recruiting, selection, and interviewing plans focused on hiring the best candidate aligned with the business needs in the least amount of time. 6. Research and provide strategic insights on market trends, salary benchmarks, and talent availability, aimed at hiring the workforce for today and the future. 7. Support and coach teammates by sharing knowledge, listening, providing guidance and training on best practices in recruitment and sourcing. 8. Data-Driven Insights: 9. Gather, track and analyze recruitment metrics and suggest process improvements based on relevant data. 10. Leverage analytics to assess recruitment performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership. 11. Maintain and enhance recruitment dashboards for real-time tracking of progress and KPIs. **Delegated/Specialized Responsibilities:** These responsibilities may be assigned to specific individuals based on organizational needs, expertise, or focus areas: 1. Employer Branding and Talent Marketing 2. Lead employer branding efforts to enhance the company’s reputation as a top workplace in key industries and regions. 3. Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns across social media platforms, career sites, and industry events. 4. Manage and optimize the organization's presence on employer review sites and recruitment channels. 5. Diversity and Inclusion Advocacy 6. In partnership with DEI staff, champion initiatives to promote diverse and inclusive sourcing, recruitment and hiring practices and outcomes. 7. Partner with DEI staff, HR and business leaders to develop and sustain diverse talent pipelines. 8. Facilitate and coordinate DEI and interview competency training, including unconscious bias, equitable, effective and legally compliant recruiting for managers and recruiters. + All AURA employees are responsible for the proper management and control of all AURA property within their work area, whether assigned to them or someone else. Remote options may be considered for candidates in states where AURA is registered as an employer. **Salary Range:** $95,000-110,000.
