Senior Recruiter - Temporary (Las Vegas)

Job Summary:

The Senior Recruiter is responsible for identifying and recruiting qualified applicants for positions in assigned departments specifically in hourly, supervisory, and management roles. The Senior Recruiter will be hands on in researching potential candidates, screening candidates for interviews, and then interviewing and making job offers to those candidates. The Senior Recruiter must have experience in workforce planning, organizational design, and behavioral interviewing techniques. The Senior Recruiter acts as business partner with property hiring managers (for assigned divisions) to identify unique and specific staffing needs, scheduling considerations, ensuring maximum productivity and team member satisfaction. They must build relationships with hiring managers to support the achievement of property recruitment objectives. The Senior Recruiter acts as a Human Resources liaison to ensure compliance and conducts various audits on the employment process.

Essential Job Functions: 

Confers with management to identify talent needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills. Works directly with department leaders developing recruiting strategies based on business needs and department turn over.  Reviews resumes or applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and positions Uses various media including social networks to obtain candidates and advertise vacancies. Works with property marketing team to develop and maintain Employment collateral for job fairs and various advertisement. Assists in educating our external network and community partners on job openings and requirements.  Develops and maintains contact with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants. Creates marketing campaigns for job boards, career fairs, community events, and social media to promote the company brand and culture. Uses online recruiting sources to identify and recruit passive candidates Conducts internal employee interviews for employees interested in professional development.  Process to include assessment scheduling, skills analysis, mock interview, resume review and feedback session. Provides information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential applicants Attends and hosts public speaking engagements as necessary.  Facilitates presentations at educational institutions, professional organizations, and career events Tracks all candidates in applicant tracking system. Provides accurate information and excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Responsible for training division hiring managers to ensure all employment policies and processes are adhered to consistently to maintain compliance. Accurately completes required Employment and HR paperwork in a timely manner. Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service, multiple tasks, decision making and demonstrated team interaction. Ensures consistent, high-quality service standards are maintained in the Employment Office. Builds the project plans for job fairs to include identifying tasks, determines owners and support resources, assigns responsibility, develops timeline, and execution of the event.  Continuous follow-up with stakeholders Maintains confidentiality of all applicant and employee information. Creates and facilitate department training sessions. Acts as a role model and presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and its family of brands and encourages others to do the same.  Adheres to all departments/company policies and procedures. Adheres to all legal compliance with federal, state, and gaming laws Performs other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalent required. Minimum three to five years in recruitment/external search experience (e.g., job fairs, college recruitment, community relations and placement agencies.  Corporate or executive level recruiting experience highly preferred. Must have experience managing client relationships at the VP level. Experience working as a recruitment leader at a mid to large company and/or retained search firm desired. Hospitality management experience preferred.  Experience working in a union environment strongly suggested.

Demonstrated experience in developing robust talent pools to include diverse candidates. Proven track record of filling positions with high quality candidates within aggressive time constraints. Experience utilizing technology to research and create candidate pools Ability to evaluate priority and multi-task accordingly Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of clients and the general public Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Strong business acumen and commercial awareness. Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner. Ability to create reports and write business correspondence Excellent presentation skills. Must have strong command of PowerPoint, Excel, and Recruitment ATS systems. Computer literacy with various HR systems such as Infinium, ADP, and Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Taleo). Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment Excellent project management skills and strong ability in handling multiple tasks. Must possess excellent telephone etiquette skills, customer service, organizational and communication skills. Must be willing and able to learn new skills and tasks quickly. Must be self-motivated and work on special projects independently. Must have demonstrated ability to take initiative, be detail oriented and self-motivated.
