This is a full-time salaried position: Monday – Friday, 1st shift.

The Senior Regional Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient procurement of goods and services for our various Catalent site in the NE region. The Senior Regional Procurement Manager role includes developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, optimizing costs, and maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Catalent’s Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses.  The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacture.  The facility is the commercial manufacturing Center-of-Excellence for accelerated development programs and roller compaction.

The Kansas City facility is also a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our large molecule analytical team has over 25 years of experience providing broad-based and orthogonal analytical CMC services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.  We provide support for drug substance, drug product, and intermediates for both innovator and biosimilar/biobetter products.

Our facility also offers comprehensive clinical packaging services including clinical supply management, package engineering, clinical manufacturing, primary and secondary packaging, global distribution and logistics, and return/destruction services. The facility features an isolated potent suite and DEA Schedule I-V controlled drug storage to handle even your most challenging products.

The Role:

Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with
Catalent's objectives, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services across multiple sites

Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships for various
sites; negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure favorable agreements while maintaining high supplier performance standards

Continuously assess cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement while maintaining product quality across all supported
sites

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams at different sites,
including production, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and Catalent policies in all procurement activities across the multiple sites

Support strategies and activities related to improving working capital

Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement performance and implement corrective actions as necessary for all sites

Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, ensuring continuity of supply and minimizing disruptions across the various sites

25% travel expectations (domestic)

Other duties as assigned

The Candidate:

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field, required

7+ years of experience in procurement/supply chain, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds

Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience
