As a Senior Project Manager at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of assigned projects. This requires preparing, planning, executing, and controlling all aspects of the project either directly or through delegation with the project team. Successful delivery requires monitoring and controlling financials, project schedule, resources (including subcontractors) as well as managing the project stakeholders (internal and external). Responsibilities include ownership of the engineering outcomes and project delivery. You will also advise the Program Principal on construction status, ensuring production schedules are met, lead project engineering problem solving efforts and deliver the project in accordance with the project estimate and contract requirements.
\n\nYou will report directly to our Program Principal and you’ll work out of our Canton, MA location on a Hybrid work schedule.
\n\nKey Responsibilities
\n\n\n\tOversee Project Management and support the construction and implementation of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage projects in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.\n\tResponsible for a project team of multi-skilled employees, including maintaining the project Safety Plan and OH&S responsibilities within the team.\n\tEnsure the Project Team adheres to the high standards of Health and Safety management required by Honeywell and our customers.\n\tMaintain overall responsibility for the delivery of complex projects to the required quality, schedule and budget.\n\tDeploy standard methodologies in the delivery and control of projects. Ensure use of Honeywell project processes and tools\n\tDirect the day-to-day operations of the project team.\n\tDeveloping trust and managing the relationship with customers and ensuring a shared understanding of key issues between all parties is maintained, maintain customer relationships at the appropriate senior level.\n\tManage effective communications with all project stakeholders.\n\tDefine all subcontract /supply requirements and work with Supply Chain to ensure all subcontractor/supplier contracts and orders are appropriate for the project from a scope/cost.\n\tand risk viewpoint. Lead or participate in negotiations as necessary.\n\tDeliver to the financial objectives for the project and control billing and costs for the project.\n\tAssist with reporting and forecasting on project(s) assigned.\n\tProvide accurate and timely project status updates and communication to Program Principal.\n\tManage overall project budget and schedule\n\tAttend and participate in weekly construction meetings at designated project site location(s).\n\tOrganize and maintain project related files, drawings, materials, and correspondence.\n\tAssist with issuing bid packages to vendors and subcontractors for pricing and delivery schedules.\n\tAssist with procuring equipment through domestic and international supply chains.\n\tPrepare spreadsheets, analyze proposals, and conduct project review meetings.\n\tCollaborate with internal functions to prepare and maintain all forms of reports, presentations, documentation, and related project material.\n\tEnsure compliance with company, industry, trade, and regulatory safety, standards, practices, and codes.\n\tFoster positive and effective business relationships with all parties.\n\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL

\n\n\n\tBachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred; equivalent years of work experience will be considered.\n\tProven track record delivering Solar and BESS projects on budget and on time.\n\tMinimum of 10 years of relevant construction/project management experience in Solar and BESS projects.\n\n\nWe Value
\n\n\n\tCompetent experience managing large scale construction and engineering projects involving new construction, upgrades, renovations, and retrofits involving private, institutional, government, commercial and industrial customer sites.\n\tCompetent experience installing and commissioning PV/BESS Equipment (PV Modules, Batteries, Inverters, Racking, and Data Acquisition Systems / SCADA) design standards, installation, and operation.\n\tCompetent experience overseeing the installation and commissioning of power electronics and controls (Switchgear, Transformers, Switching, Controls, and Protection) design standards, installation, and operation.\n\tCompetent knowledge of utility, municipal, state, and federal renewable energy policies.\n\tCompetent experience assisting the design process of large projects with multiple engineering disciplines, specifically: Civil, Environmental (Geotech, Hydrology & Ecology), Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Low Voltage, Electrical Medium Voltage, Communication & Controls, and Lighting.\n\tProven ability to gather, validate, and analyze quantitative data and information.\n\tAdvanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Project.\n\tProficiency with related project management software.\n\tExcellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills required.\n\tDemonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.\n\tValid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing\n\n\n\n\n
