We are a fairly new and expanding team here at Fidelity, servicing the suite of Alternative Investment products that have been created and launched by Fidelity. This new space offers Fidelity a new asset class previously unexplored by current day Fidelity funds (ETFs, Mutual Funds). The Role
The Associate Analyst services both internal and external collaborators of the funds via their understanding of alternative products. We are seeking an individual who is organized, professional, and can demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision who can produce and review fund and investor level reporting, such as, monthly / quarterly statements, contract notes, cash receipts, order acknowledgements, and regulatory reports.
Some other notable tasks are as follows:
Collaborating within team environment to successfully handle daily work volume
Ability to process investor data quickly and accurately
Take on and complete ad-hoc and system generated reporting for the fund, channels, and other Fidelity related groups
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentations
Strong Time management Skills
Partner with the funds, investors, internal collaborators (channels, tax, accounting, technology, etc) to ensure completion of all end to end processes
Engage in projects within the IR team including fund launches and on-boarding, system testing, etc.
Works to identify and mitigate risk, and improve operational efficiency

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Grade 2 – Minimum 1-2 years of industry experience, preferably in Alternative Fund Administration, or in a financial operations role
Grade 3 – Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience, preferably in Alternative Fund Administration, or in a financial operations role
Extended hours may be required during fund launches, system changes, as well as during peak cycles (month-end, year-end, tax season, etc)
