Job Description Summary

The Senior Analyst for industrial research reports to the Research Manager. The Senior Analyst is responsible for all local research output. This position provides support in developing pitch and/or proposal materials, as well as local thought leadership. The Senior Analyst is accountable for proactive and routine maintenance of proprietary and third-party databases. The position will serve as quality control auditor to ensure accuracy of reports, data and adherence to corporate standards. This position will specialize in the industrial sector.

Responsibilities:

Track market metrics such as vacancy rates and absorption, interact with various departments and external clients, as well as produce high quality market publications and white papers Serve as staff specialist for industrial market staying abreast of industrial leasing activity in support of leasing brokersCreate quarterly market reports to include written analysis, statistics and market activity, which may include drafting quarterly write-up Manage quarterly report process and/or the production of other deliverables released by ResearchAssist in project management to include coordinating with all parties involved in the production of a deliverable (marketing, graphics, etc.) Author research papers to analyze the effects of business activities or public policies on commercial real estate Present market overviews to clients as needed Analyze indicators needed to generate a market forecast and make recommendations to the Director of Research Oversee quarterly reporting process Respond to staff inquiries for information by completing advanced research Assist in providing nationwide data as needed, relating industrial Compile statistical data specific to client or service line by translating and converting data to graphs/tables/charts

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree; Industry related field of study preferred3+ years of real estate research or related business experienceOr any similar combination of education and experienceExperience in data entry/data managementProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong data software applications skillsAbility to calculate and analyze key office metrics and indicators (vacancy, absorption, inventory, deliveries, ground breakings, cap rates, FAR, etc.) Demonstrated ability to work independently to meet goals and objectivesProven record of providing excellent internal and external customer serviceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEffective listening and critical thinking skills
