Senior Research Analyst **Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):** Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Experience working with target populations (Latinos and/or recent migrants). Must speak and read Spanish and English. **Preferred Qualifications:** Six (6) months of full-time experience conducting research with target populations (Latinos and/or recent migrants). Experience in health care settings. Experience conducting research. Experience in coordinating logistics. **Brief Description of Duties:** Working under general supervision, the incumbent will gather data through various methods in support of a research project or program for Dr. Miguel Munoz-Laboy in the School of Social Welfare. The successful incumbent will have excellent interpersonal skills, exercising strong organizational and time-management skills with an exceptional attention to detail. Essential for this role is the adeptness to work independently as well as part of a team with a collaborative approach to problem solving. The field research assistant will be primarily responsible for conducting clinic-based field work in a pre-identified, collaborating clinic in Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York, with a secondary responsibility to conducting fieldwork at the second research site in the Lower East Side, New York, New York. The incumbent needs to be a near-peer member of the community where the research is conducted so that there is trust of potential research participants to enroll in the study. The incumbent must be fully fluent in Spanish due to the primary focus of this study on Latinos and recent migrants. The incumbent needs a basic level of understanding of research in clinical settings. **Duties** : + Conduct outreach and coordinate with staff to identify potential research participants. + Identify, enroll, and conduct 20-minute survey interviews or facilitate self-administered surveys. + Coordinate with the research team for the distribution of participant gratitude incentives. + Schedule and conduct follow-up survey interviews. + Other projects as assigned. **Special Notes:** The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation.
