Exemption Status: Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $25.66 - $33.52  

*As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices 

Position Summary Under direction, assists with supervision of the day-to-day research operations and the coordination of clinical research projects Job Responsibilities Coordinates research and clinical care for patients as needed under the direction of department administration and physicians. Oversees the recruitment and enrollment of study participants. Develops and implements recruitment strategies. Assesses patient eligibility for inclusion in clinical trials. Ensures proper consent protocols have been followed for study participation. Assists in the development of research designs. Performs statistical analysis of research data and summarizes project results; prepares articles, reports and presentations. Conducts literature reviews and internet and library searches to gain expert familiarity with protocols that will be used as templates. Independently performs all data collection, entry, and analysis. Assists in preparation of materials and submissions to Institutional Review Board; assists with grant application process. Assists with manuscript preparation and editing. Education High School Diploma Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Approximately 2 years of prior experience in a health-related clinical or research setting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience with conducting and carrying out protocols and research coordination. Familiarity with IRB interaction, regulatory policies, database input and report generation. Research experience in an academic health center with exposure to a team research environment at all levels (senior investigators, nurses, research coordinators, lab technicians).
