Senior Research Contract Specialist
Job DescriptionUnder the general direction of the Associate Director of Contracting in the Clinical Trials Office (CTO), the Senior Contracting Specialist will work with investigators, clinical trial coordinators, foundation and industry sponsors, and contract research organizations to negotiate clinical research agreements in accordance with institutional policies.This role involves providing orientation, training, and mentoring to CTO clinical research agreement associates, conducting and coordinating peer-review and quality assurance activities within CTO, and facilitating interactions with CTO and the Technology Ventures Office (TVO) and the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) regarding issues and agreements that overlap with CTO expertise.

Hard Skills1-3 years related work experience with industry sponsored contractsPreferred pre-award and post-award management of grants and contractsAdvanced skills with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access and other web-based applicationsSoft SkillsAbility to work with a varied caseload with minimal supervisionStrong judgment and ability to apply legal principles and Medical Center policies to specific legal issuesAbility to work as a member of an interdisciplinary teamStrong organization and time management skillsAbility to multi-task while remaining detail-oriented in a highly time sensitive environmentOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsJob TypeThis is a permanent position.Work Environment

100% Remote but you must reside in MA, NH, RI, CT, or VT
