The Senior Research Coordinator will coordinate research activities; participate in grant activities (identifying funding sources, generate applications, etc.) and participate in research dissemination.
Responsibilities
1. Provide research support assist to department Faculty, to include developing research ideas, writing and designing research proposals, and writing grant proposals.
2. Assist in oversight of the research agenda through participation in all aspects of research involving the assessment and treatment of behavior disorders, such as literature review, study design, subject recruitment, data collection, data analysis, database management, professional writing, etc.
3. Schedule and organize research meetings.
4. Participate in the development, implementation, and supervision of research protocols.
5. Assist in writing manuscripts and grant proposals.
6. Assist in the preparation and completion of research proposals submitted to the Johns Hopkins Institutional Review Board.
7. Provide clinical interventions according to research protocol.
8. Assist in dissemination of research including manuscript preparation, conference presentations, and presentations to the public.
9. Provide clinical services as directed by Faculty, including evaluation, assessment, treatment, and required documentation for patients with severe behavior disorders.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology required
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 4 years of professional experience required. A Master’s degree may be substituted for two years of the required experience at the discretion of the Director, NBU Programs.
