Senior Research Nurse (Hybrid - Onsite/Remote)
Position Overview
Join our innovative research team as a Senior Research Nurse, where you'll play a vital role in advancing cancer treatment through diverse and impactful studies. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to six different cancer types and a variety of clinical trials. Your work will support groundbreaking interventional treatment trials and foster collaboration with renowned physicians, external sponsors, and multidisciplinary teams.
Schedule
This position is day shift but requires availability for occasional after-hours communication with patients or Principal Investigators (PIs) as needed.
This position requires on-site presence as business and patient needs arise (2+ days per week). This includes tasks like patient consenting, in-person assessments, attending team/PI meetings, and handling study materials. Initial training will require on-site precepting in the clinic, with duration tailored to individual learning pace.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage interventional treatment trials. Collaborate closely with PIs, managers, ancillary departments, and external sponsors. Ensure clear, consistent, and thorough communication, both verbally and in written documentation. Maintain proper responsiveness and follow-through for study and patient-related issues. Uphold a strong team spirit and willingness to adapt to dynamic study requirements.
Ideal Candidate Skills & Experience
Research Nurse experience is a must. Experience with interventional treatment trials. Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple protocols. High initiative and engagement with stakeholders. Exceptional communication skills. Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability and flexibility to be on-site when required for non-remote study activities.

EDUCATION
Required: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree Nursing.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required: 2 years Registered nurse experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Required: RN - Registered Nurse State of Texas Professional Nursing License (RN). Upon Hire Required and BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Upon Hire Required ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification as required by patient care area.
