Senior Research Scientist - Basic Science and Translational Research **Galveston, Texas, United States** Research Academic & Clinical UTMB Health Requisition # 2402635 **JOB DESCRIPTION:** To support the research initiatives of the University. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:** The Sr. Research Scientist position will lead multiple NIH funded projects in reproductive biology and microphysiologic system (MPS; organ on a chip) laboratory in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This position will focus on projects to reduce the risk of preterm birth, develop MPS platforms for preclinical drug trials, and test various drugs.
