The Department of Inflammation & Immunity advances scientific understanding by bringing together a dedicated and collaborative team of scientists at the forefront of immunologic and organ-based research, to deliver impactful translational science that improves the health and well-being of patients at Cleveland Clinic and across the globe. **A caregiver in this position works 8:00AM - 5:00PM.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Supervise a research lab on a daily basis, including space, equipment, personnel and project management. + Assists staff investigator with experimental design and planning/developing technical aspects of research projects. + Plan, organize, perform, and monitor daily project protocols. + Collect, prepare, and maintain required research documentation, including informed consent records, case records, clinical notes, and medical reports. + Report and assist with the management of protocol deviations, adverse events, and other project-related issues. + Assist with the preparation and delivery of internal/external presentations, conference reports/lectures, and publishing submissions. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + High school diploma. + Six years of experience in a research or related laboratory environment, which has developed the ability to work independently on a variety of research projects, demonstrated through a thorough understanding of research laboratory techniques and procedures. + An associate's degree in a laboratory science field may substitute one year of the experience requirement. + A bachelor's degree may substitute two years of the experience requirement. + A master's degree may substitute three years of the work experience requirement. + Must be innovative in design and development techniques and familiar with maintaining budgets. Pay Range Minimum hourly: $22.85 Maximum hourly: $34.85 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
