Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner - St Patrick Hospital-Broadway Bldg-Missoula MT

 

The Senior Respiratory Therapist is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles. The Senior Respiratory Therapist should be a solid performer who is fully competent in all aspects of his/her job description. The Senior Respiratory Therapist possesses all of the core skills of the JRN level Respiratory Therapist. He/she is expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.  He/she will collaborate with physicians and nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care.  Completion of the department orientation program as well as unit-specific orientation is mandatory. This individual assists the physician with the the delivery and direction of respiratory therapy.

Shift Details: Day shift, Full time, No Daily Overtime 40 Hour Week

Required Qualifications: 

Associate's Degree - AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy. Or Bachelor's Degree - AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.    Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire. National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire. 4 years for RRT; Or 15 years for CRT
