The Senior Revenue Analyst is responsible for analyzing client revenues and assisting with the accuracy and understanding of what is driving P&L results. Partnering with the GBS Finance team and Operations is essential to deliver meaningful insights around revenue. Responsibilities Overview: Forecast/Budget Processing & Analysis Owns monthly revenue forecast in our revenue system (OneStream) for specific branches Works with sales operation business partners to understand client forecast changes needed Understands trends in business, carriers and clients to manage forecasting of revenue. Monitors actual revenue posted throughout month, particularly during close, to ensure accuracy Analyzes and explains primary drivers of results to business partners and FP&A, including action areas as necessary. Oversee and ensure revenue cases are setup appropriately for accurate system processing by offshore team Oversee maintenance of policy renewal dates, term dates and other key information in our systems (xRM) Other areas and Projects Assists M&A and Corporate teams with new acquisition partner transition and revenue forecasting and reporting Projects likely to include working with IT on creating reporting systems to improve ease and accuracy of revenue reporting & working with other finance teams to gain additional support around overall revenue process About You Required: Bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience required. Strong Excel and financial management software skills are essential. Preferred: Understanding of accrual accounting methods, ASC 606 revenue recognition experience a plus but not required Ability to form relationships and collaborate across multiple function both within finance (i.e. Revenue, reporting, and Fin Ops teams) and business Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to summarize detailed business understanding into executive level presentation with insightful perspectives Analytical skills. Able to learn and understand all aspects of financial planning and analysis for an organization Ability to learn business acumen.
