Job Description
The Senior RF Engineer will be responsible for the development of RF hardware systems throughout the development lifecycle, from system requirements definition through to delivery. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and specifications to ensure seamless integration and interoperability. You will support the development of system architecture and implement designs to meet this architecture.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and specifications.Support the development of system architecture and implement the design to meet this architecture.Create hardware designs with supporting technical justification artifacts.Identify and select RF system components, such as active and passive devices, antennas, connectors, cables, and physical enclosures.Conduct supporting analyses to inform and justify decisions, such as RF link budgets.Support the assembly, initial operation, and check-out of systems, including defining test procedures.Tasks may be related to RF systems for airborne applications, but you may be tasked on other applications as needed.Essential SkillsUnderstanding of and experience with RF systems and their principles of design, development, requirements verification, test planning, test execution, and data analysis.Demonstrated experience in the delivery of advanced development hardware.Capable of effectively working in a team environment, often under tight deadlines.Experience in preparing and delivering briefings and familiarity with the execution of technical reviews such as SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, and TIMS.Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of applicable experience; Master’s degree and at least 3 years of applicable experience; or PhD. Equivalent experience will be considered.Additional Skills & QualificationsActive Secret or Top Secret security clearance.Demonstrated experience in radar systems, electronic warfare, microwave engineering, analog and digital signal processing, embedded software development, physics modeling, and simulation.Work Environment
The work environment is based in Woburn, MA or Dayton, OH. The position offers a hybrid work environment but requires the ability to commute to the office as needed for program requirements. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $135000.00 - $160000.00/hr.
