HDR is looking for a Senior Right of Way Project Manager to join our team in Springfield, Illinois. This individual must be a professional who is well versed in all aspects of right-of-way services for power, transportation, water, and oil and gas projects.

In the role of Senior Right of Way Project Manager, we'll count on you to:Provide area leadership of technical capabilities within the right-of-way business classBuild and retain strong relationships with team, other project managers, and client development managersServe as a client manager, project principal, and project managerMaintain appropriate QA/QC procedures and best practicesActively participate in projects or manage projects to meet assigned utilization rateSupport area pursuits and actively participate in proposal developmentIdentify project right-of-way needs and help recruit professionals See that all work is planned, organized, controlled, and evaluated through proactive project management systemImplement, monitor, and support company policyWork cooperatively with other project managers, region and National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production effortsPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsMO and/or IL Real Estate License or ability to obtainValid Driver’s LicenseA minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management or the right-of-way industryPrevious project management experience preferredA broad-based range of right-of-way experience across diverse markets with an understanding of Uniform and Non-Uniform Act right-of-way proceduresFamiliarity with the Uniform Relocation Act and the Eminent Domain Process Ability to build positive client relationships, strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsExperience managing budgets, preparing scopes, and developing cost estimatesDemonstrated ability to establish, grow, and manage a right-of-way program and staff working statewide in multiple officesPossess knowledge of area clients and business environments related to right-of-way servicesAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated organizational, planning, and prioritization skillsAbility to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines, as well as balance multiple projects by prioritizing effectivelyAbility to understand applicable laws, policies, and procedures by which each project is governedLocal candidates are preferred

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field 7 years related experience A minimum of 2 years project management experience Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
