Overview
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Right of Way Project Manager to lead our Land Services business of our Survey/Geospatial team in Tennessee!

Responsibilities
+ Prepare effective work plans and man-hour budgets for approval by Department Manager.
+ Monitor time schedules and capital cost budgets on projects to satisfy the client as well as control work and productivity.
+ Identify the project team, work packages and tasks, evaluation methods, productivity targets, schedule of deliverables and manpower required on projects.
+ Responsible for the quality control/quality assurance process on all assigned projects.
+ Oversee the work and productivity on assigned projects.
+ Strive to achieve predetermined goals for profit, productivity targets, schedule of events and an estimation of manpower requirements as necessary.
+ Participate in formulating and coordinating proposals and provides other Marketing support, including Business Development.
+ Hold team meetings ensuring procedures governing review and approval of projects are followed prior to submission of completed work.
+ Negotiate with clients on any scope changes relative to project budgets and schedules subject to supervisors’ approval.
+ Coordinate and communicate effectively with all employees involved in the project to ensure high utilization rates (i.e. Project team meetings).
+ Review monthly man-hour and cost reports to ensure projects are being completed at the predetermined profit goal.
+ Ensure that all budgets affecting the project schedule and/or fee budget are discussed with the client.
+ Facilitate all out-of-scope work and associated feeds are approved by the client prior to performing the services.
+ Solicit help and involvement from Department Managers and any other managers to troubleshoot any technical problems.
+ Works efficiently with the Billing Department to authorize and transmit bills to client.
+ Mentor junior staff in learning sound technical and business practices and enhancing corporate objectives.
+ Adhere to Health and Safety program and all applicable SOPs.
+ Review time sheets and expense reports of direct reports during a specified reporting period.
+ Evaluate employee performance in accordance with company policy.
Qualifications
+ Bachelors’ degree in related field or IRWA SR/WA Certification preferred.
+ 5+ years experience in the right of way industry required.
+ Prior experience working with TDOT required.
+ Valid driver's license and car insurance required.
+ Ability to comfortably interact with diverse groups of people.
+ Understand company billing parameters methods to ensure goals are met.
+ Provide guidance to manage junior level staff and address any performance or HR challenges within company guidelines.
+ Able to communicate project roles and responsibilities to staff and enforce project schedule and deliverables.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently including maintaining budget, scope and schedule.
+ Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
