Senior Risk Analyst
What we are looking for:
Aldridge is seeking a Sr Risk Analyst to join our dynamic and energetic team. You will have the opportunity to work within our Corporate Risk Department and work with operational personnel on claims, insurance, contracts, and other compliance-related topics. What you’ll do:
· Manage the portfolio of insurance claims
· Review subcontractor insurance certificates for contract compliance
· Coordinate with broker regarding the issuance and follow-up of certificates of insurance
· Support the Director of Risk during the insurance renewal process, work with departments to compile data needed
· Review contract insurance and compliance language in construction contracts, business agreements, and leases
· Serve as a Risk Department contact for the Aldridge employees
· Assist in special projects assigned, including due diligence reviews
· Review all commercial insurance policies for accuracy vs. proposal
· Act as liaising with the business to identify team specific risks to maintain and update the business risk assessment
· Assist the Director of Risk in the placement of project specific insurance policies
· Manage project specific placements through project completion
· Assist our Risk Manager in insurance placements for joint ventures
· Manage insurance billings for accuracy
· Provide insightful, quality reporting to internal boards, committees, and other key stakeholders to support risk processes
· Contribute information to Risk Committee meetings on current risk issues and developments
· Maintain an open and productive relationship with insurer and broker
· Manage Controlled Insurance Program (CIP) enrollment and administration through project completion
Who you are:
· Bachelor’s degree in risk management, law, business, or related field
· Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance and risk management
· Construction experience preferred, and benefits background is a plus
· Good understanding of insurance and risk management principles
· Strong ability to review, comprehend and analyze complex insurance coverages
· Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
· High proficiency with Windows based software, including Excel, and database systems
