Senior Risk Analyst
Aon is looking for a candidate to fill our HYBRID Senior Risk Analyst role, located in Morris Plains NJ! Hybrid in Morris Plains, 3 days on site, Position Summary The Senior Risk Analyst will report to the VP of Risk Management and will assist in the administration of all insurance and claims activity of the global insurance program, including all record keeping, underwriting data collection and the preparation of analytical and informational reports. This position will establish and maintain a working relationship with internal representatives, Insurance brokers, Insurance Carriers and Outside Defense Counsel. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong technology skills, including the ability to analyze large quantities of data. The job also requires a person with an inquiring mind and strong analytical skills to promote streamlined ways of managing the client’s various risks. Role Responsibilities: + Direct claims/invoice handling, including corresponding with claims adjusters on worker’s compensation, product liability, automobile liability and property claims. + Act as internal claims resource to assist with investigating and compiling data and financial information to support Honeywell’s position. + Assist the Director, Risk Management in assisting with underwriting data collection and conducting post loss-reduction techniques such as salvage and subrogation, as necessary. + Prepare regularly Claim Status/analytical Reports and facilitate communication to Risk Manager + Review and process invoices including legal bills and track reimbursement where applicable. Skills and experience that will lead to success: + Bachelor’s Degree + Minimum five years claims and insurance management experience in the commercial insurance, risk management and/or brokerage environment. + Ability to interact with individuals from all levels within the organization as well as externally; strong interpersonal skills are essential + In-depth knowledge of coverage/policy forms, including experience negotiating terms and conditions. + Experience with third party administrators, casualty insurance placements and claim handling procedures + Knowledge of risk and claims management information systems + Excellent working knowledge of insurance reserving philosophies + Utilize leadership skills to direct claims resolution and provide guidance on risk management policies and procedures + Highly developed interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive, critical or controversial claim/insurance situations. + Ability to solve problems by considering courses of action within the framework of management's goals and standards. + Associate in Claims (AIC) or further insurance designation preferred We support our colleagues! Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $120,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
