About the HUB Risk Services Division
Our consultants are board-certified and professionals with experience in a variety of industries and disciplines. Located throughout the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, our team has the proven knowledge and experience to assist our clients in identifying current and potential risks and implementing controls to reduce their exposure to loss.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Senior Risk Consultant will develop risk reduction strategies and provide direct consulting to clients. The successful candidate will implement safety, regulatory, and best practice risk reduction programs to improve risk performance. The primary responsibilities include:
Provide a high level of service to clients throughout the Texas region
Work collaboratively with fellow HUB risk consultants to ensure client needs are met
Consult with clients to understand risk management needs and objectives
Advise clients on best practices in risk mitigation and safety management strategies
Support the Implementation of risk management and safety best practices using generally accepted project management and consulting practices
Support client acquisition and retention activities
Conduct management and employee training sessions for clients as needed
Conduct loss analysis & trending to identify client focus areas
Perform audits and assessments at client sites
Develop and submit clear, concise, and timely reports/correspondence documenting all activities
Develop/manage relationships with insurance carrier and vendor partners
Provide oversight of insurance carrier loss control activities
Provide support to the sales and service teams in the region
Contribute to special projects as required

Required Experience
Key Requirements:
At least five (5) years of experience as a risk/loss control consultant in the insurance broker or carrier environments, or as a risk/safety manager in industry
Knowledge of manufacturing and construction processes and related safety and health concerns and risk reduction techniques
Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety or engineering background is desirable
Risk Management/Loss Control experience in Insurance is desirable
Completion of (or progression towards) professional risk/safety designations is desirable
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, DOT and/or NFPA standards is desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
High degree of self-motivation and discipline is necessary
Must be willing to travel and work beyond normally scheduled workweek as necessary
Proficient with MS Office suite and video conferencing solutions
Proficient with spreadsheet analysis, report writing, and presentation development
High degree of self-motivation and discipline
Ability to travel and work beyond the normally scheduled workweek as necessary
Property experience is desirable.
