Team Overview:
Wealth Management Advice and Solutions (WMAS) First Line Risk Management department is responsible for delivering the risk profile of the division and aligning our First Line Risk Programs with Enterprise Risk Management Standards. The Risk Integration & Standards team is responsible for developing and enhancing the First Line Risk Programs that are typically executed through other teams in the department.
What You Will Do:
The Sr. Risk Manager will be responsible for the development of the WMAS divisional risk management framework to align with Enterprise Risk Management standards and to enhance WMAS divisional risk programs through continuous improvements that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the department. The Sr. Risk Manger will create impact in an evolving environment where collaboration and curiosity are critical to delivering a divisional risk profile, allowing business risk-based decision making that benefit our clients and branches.
Responsibility Summary: Primary focus includes understanding Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Standards, identifying opportunities to align WMAS risk programs to ERM, and leading the department and/or business areas to adopt necessary changes. Primary focus includes managing WMAS Divisional risk programs, creating efficiencies and increased effectiveness for those executing the programs, and identifying and deploying improvements to the risk programs.Responsible for developing new WMAS first line risk programs and ensuring risk department and business stakeholders are able to execute. Responsible for building strong collaborative relationships with ERM stakeholders and WMAS business stakeholders. Assists divisional associates or business leaders in understanding the Enterprise Risk Management Program and expectations. Identify opportunities to develop risk training and education to internal or external stakeholders. Assists with risk reporting or risk governance activities as needed.Responsible for carrying out some risk and control activities per the Enterprise Risk Management Program as well as any divisional-required elements. Stays informed on risk industry and educational/development opportunities.
