In the role of Senior Roadway Engineer, we'll count on you to:Serve in the lead technical role in the detailed development of urban roadway design projectsPerform quality assurance checks on major transportation projects on interstate and state highway systemsServe as a technical expert with recognized authority in an area of specialization that resolves problems of greater scope and complexityAssume some project management duties and interact with clients as neededSupervise work of medium to large staff of professionals and technicians as neededPerform other duties as needed Preferred QualificationsMSCEExperience with MicroStation, Open Roads, Microsoft Office applicationsSelf-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degreeA minimum of 10 years experience in all aspects of roadway engineering designProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseDemonstrated leadership skills, communication skills and ability to work with various teamsProject management skills desirableExperience should include urban and rural highway interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, preparation of concept alignments, geometrical layout and CAD base alignment plansMust have coordinated survey, grading, drainage and utilities and layout of various site items is a plusAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
