Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Roadway Project Manager to expand our Roadway practice in Atlanta, GA!
ResponsibilitiesExpand our practice and presence in the market focused on transportation projects for the Department of Transportation and local municipalitiesComplex engineering design tasks as well as marketing, client engagement, and the growth of the roadway design practice in local and/or surrounding marketsManaging the design and delivery of projects profitably while actively engaging in design issuesLeadership responsibilities include:Operating with integrity and sound business principalsProviding vision, business planning and strategyEstablishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with partners and teamGrowing and leading a roadway practiceManage projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor

Qualifications15+ years of relevant experience managing roadway projectsRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenseExperience successfully winning and delivering work in the local and/or surrounding areasKnowledge and experience with the full life cycle of roadway projectsExperience and relationships with local agencies and/or local municipalitiesKnowledge in the civil design of local roadways, urban freeways and/or interchangesDemonstrated ability to manage roadway projects profitably, while leading a team and collaborating key stakeholdersExperience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work Why Kimley-Horn?
