Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking a Senior RPG Engineer to join their Prime Labels and Packaging IT team!


Your Responsibilities:

Planning, analysis and implementation of web and windows software applicationsQuality assurance including unit testing, bug reports and automated notificationsFollow new technology and best practices, enhancing technical policies and standardsContribute technical and process knowledge/skills within project teams, including involvement in e-commerce and web development initiativesWork with business leaders to identify analytical requirements as neededOther duties as assigned, including server/IIS setup, database maintenance and overall IT planning


You Must Have:

Bachelor's degree in a related area (or equivalent experience)8+ years of programming experienceExperience with Scott Klement’s HTTPLIB API’s, RPGIV/ILE/FREEDatabase experience table/index creation, CL programming, creating/consuming web services, XML or Json filesILE binding and using binding directoriesAldon or other source management experienceExperience with tax work solutionsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to work closely with users throughout the lifecycle of application development and deploymentAbility to demonstrate programming knowledgeAnalysis, planning and implementation of web and windows software applicationsUnderstanding of and ability to demonstrate object-oriented programming principlesAbility to logically structure applications to promote loose couplingAbility to understand and implement event driven application development and multithreadingSQL Server (schemas, queries, stored procedures) – able to write store procedures and interact with SQL server database using .NET, WCF/Web API services


We Would Also Prefer:

Solid understanding of i-series operationsPHP experienceKnowledge of shipping programs
